For those who are curious, I've been on something of a Glee detox this summer after the infuriating mess that was the Glee season finale. Clearly the days where the Glee writers can pull out the goods when times are desperate and the need is high are long gone. I've also taken a much needed brake from drawing. I was getting pretty strung-out this spring after 7 straight weeks of glee comic recaps. (Those things take way longer than I'm proud to admit.) This may come as a shock, especially considering that Kurt Hummel is like my favorite fictional character ever, but I'm not really surprised or disappointed that he didn't get into NYADA.  DON'T GET ME WRONG. I'm absolutely devastated for him. It sucks that, once again, all his hopes and dreams have been completely crushed. But I've honestly always though NYADA was an awkward fit for him. I, of course, wanted him to get in. He wanted it so badly, and it almost seemed tangible there at the end, but the question of what parts he would actually play on Broadway was never really answered.
