The ''Saturday Night Glee-ver'' Drinking Game

For anyone wondering, they said the word “dream” (in one form or another) 29 times. If you’re not impressed by that number just remember that more than half the episode was singing, so with the 15 minutes remaining for actual dialogue the fact that they managed to squeeze it in there that many times would be impressive if it weren't so painful. I’m glad I didn't actually make this a drinking game. I wouldn't have lasted. This episode was almost as bad as “Acafellas”, where each character had to say the word “confidence” at least 3 times every scene, or “Hairography” where the overused word of the day was “distraction”. Seriously go back and watch those episodes. It’s ridiculous.

Did anyone else notice that Scheuster doesn't seem to care what Brittney wants to do with her life? Or are we all just accepting the fact that, despite being senior class president, she's just not passing this year. Maybe he should be more concerned about a girl flunking all her classes than forcing kids to admit they have dreams.

And how creepy was Sam filming Mercedes? The whole time I was thinking 'just because she rejected you doesn't mean you can secretly film her you creepo!' And that was before Mercedes gave her speech about fearing she wasn't talented enough, so it's not like he was originally filming her to prove that she was. The obvious message that they kept shoving down our throats was the power of dreams, but, with the teachers’ inappropriate meddling, Sam creepily filming Mercedes, and Britney putting up a private sex tape without asking, I think the hidden massage was that it’s a-okay to violate people’s privacy.

I gave a little more of an in-depth review in my journal ([link]) (including the things I liked), but there are just too many things that had me cringing to talk about them all. I’m not going to say it’s technically the worst episode of the season, but it’s definitely the one I had the worst experience watching. And how annoyed was I that in an episode where everyone is singing falsetto Kurt barley got to sing (and the one song he did sing in I had to endure Finn sounding like a dying Nazgul)? My one conciliation is next week’s promo. And let's not forget about the Klaine dip. Cutest thing ever. This kind of makes up for last prom episode when Blaine was going to spin Kurt and Rachel twirled in front of the camera just as he did.

Spot on for Will this episode.
I don't even attempt to understand Will and Finn anymore.
There isn't enough drink in the world for the dream thing though.

Yeah, the acting thing came from nowhere.
Finn has never showed the slightest interest in it, and I don't think he'd be very good at it.
